What you will do
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics engagements, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget outcomes.
- Manage practice operations including utilization, staffing coordination, and margin tracking.
- Lead and coach a globally distributed team of data engineers, architects, and analytics professionals.
- Partner with sales and GTM teams to support scoping and technical solutioning for new and existing accounts.
- Develop delivery standards, reusable frameworks, and practice IP to enable scalable execution.
- Maintain senior-level relationships with client stakeholders at the Director, VP, and C-level.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in professional services or consulting focused on data engineering and analytics.
- Proven experience managing and growing teams of 20+ data professionals.
- Deep technical expertise in the AWS data ecosystem (Redshift, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Lake Formation, Athena).
- Track record of delivering complex AWS projects including data lakes, lakehouses, and streaming workloads.
- Must be based in Mexico.
- No visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or MBA.
- AWS Certifications (Data Analytics, Solutions Architect).
- Knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake integration with AWS-native architectures.
