What you will do

• Develop and implement a comprehensive government affairs strategy to facilitate growth in the Midwest and Eastern US.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder engagement at community meetings, town halls, and regulatory hearings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local elected officials, regulatory bodies, industry coalitions, and community partners.
• Monitor regulator sentiment and collaborate with the Policy team to create proactive mitigation strategies.
• Represent the company as a spokesperson and produce public communications, including briefing documents and public testimony.
• Report KPIs and progress on government affairs activities to senior management.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or legislative staffing.
• 2+ years of experience working with policymakers across different political parties.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven success in developing government relations strategies, ideally in tech or micromobility.
• Strong writing, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel 40% of the time.
