Oracle Database Developer (Financial Markets)

Location: Katowice, Poland (Zabrska 19)

Salary: 9,600–20,000 PLN/month for Engineer III; 13,000–22,000 PLN/month for Engineer IV

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain data workflows, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integration processes.
• Develop Oracle-based data solutions for transactional and near real-time systems.
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance data processing pipelines.
• Build automation, monitoring, and testing frameworks for data workflows.
• Collaborate with distributed global teams in an Agile environment.
• Own solutions end-to-end, from design and implementation through testing and production support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with Oracle and SQL, including advanced PL/SQL development with stored procedures, packages, and functions.
• Experience with triggers, views, materialized views, transaction management, locking, and performance tuning.
• 5+ years of experience with Python and shell scripting for automation and data processing.
• Experience designing data pipelines covering ingestion, transformation, modelling, and storage.
• Experience with near real-time or transactional systems, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving, solution design, communication, and ownership skills; banking experience of 5+ years is expected, ideally in Financial Markets.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of exchange-listed products such as equities and commodities.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.
