Location: Hybrid (3 days remote) in Sant Joan Despí, Spain

What you will do

• Design and implement comprehensive test cases for embedded software systems.
• Develop automated test frameworks and scripts for unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Perform manual and automated testing on embedded platforms such as microcontrollers and SoCs.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and collaborate with developers for resolution.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards including ISO 26262 and IEC 62304.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software testing (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of RTOS and microcontroller architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and JIRA.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience in safety-critical domains such as automotive, aerospace, or medical.
• Knowledge of communication protocols like SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Knowledge of smartcards and telecommunication standards (ETSI, GSMA, Global Platform, Javacard).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
