What you will do

• Monitor freezer, refrigerator, and room temperatures, responding to alarms according to SOPs.
• Process incoming biological samples and supplies, ensuring accurate documentation and storage.
• Manage frozen sample inventory and data entry using the BSI management system.
• Perform aseptic aliquoting of frozen specimens.
• Coordinate and execute the shipping of biological samples following IATA regulations.
• Perform quality control verification for outgoing samples and dry shippers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• 2 years of general working experience.
• Must be based in Frederick, MD, USA for onsite work.
• English: Fluent proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold freezer environments (-20ºC to -196ºC).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Basic laboratory skills.
• Training in aseptic technique.
