What you will do

• Manage enterprise firewalls, including Cisco Meraki, SonicWall, and Fortinet.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts using XDR, RMM, and SIEM platforms.
• Lead incident response, breach remediation, and root-cause analysis.
• Administer Bitdefender Endpoint Protection and secure the Microsoft 365 tenant.
• Support SOC 2, ISO 27002, and HIPAA compliance activities.
• Perform Windows Server and Linux administration, and maintain VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.

Requirements

• Must be based in El Salvador or other LATAM countries (outside the US).
• Good English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Senior-level experience in systems and security administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience in responding to real-world security incidents.
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, and virtualization.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of telecom industry applications and requirements.
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CySA+, CEH, SSCP, ITIL, CompTIA Server+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
