Search Engine Optimization Specialist (AI Search)

Location: Remote - Minnesota, United States. Travel may include up to 25% domestically and internationally. Relocation assistance may be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship. New hires may be required to travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding.

Salary: $107,600–$147,950 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic visibility, qualified traffic, and business growth for the global Health Information Systems business.
• Apply Generative Engine Optimization practices to improve discoverability in AI-powered search, answer engines, and conversational experiences.
• Conduct keyword, content, and competitive research to identify opportunities and prioritize optimization work.
• Partner with marketing, product marketing, communications, and web stakeholders to turn search insights into content improvements and measurable outcomes.
• Lead digital asset uploads and metadata management in the Digital Asset Management system to improve asset quality, governance, and discoverability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least seven years of hands-on experience in SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, content strategy, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail, quality, and follow-through.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of experience with keyword strategy, on-page optimization, metadata development, technical SEO, content performance analysis, and internal linking.
• Experience with GEO, AI-driven search, answer engines, or emerging discovery experiences.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, DAM platforms, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Answer the Public, or Screaming Frog.
• Healthcare technology, B2B, regulated-industry, global-organization, or cross-regional collaboration experience.
• Strong project management skills and experience with content management or digital asset management systems.
