What you will do

• Develop high-quality vertically-integrated C++ software systems for both on-vehicle and off-vehicle functions.
• Manage critical autonomous vehicle systems including sensing, positioning, and motion control.
• Analyze field data logs and simulation results to optimize system performance.
• Participate in cross-functional workflows, including requirement reviews and project planning.

Requirements

• Degree (BS, MS) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2+ years of professional experience developing production software in modern C++ (C++17, C++20).
• Experience with real-time/embedded systems or complex distributed systems.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid schedule in Mountain View, CA.

Nice to have

• In-depth understanding of microcontroller-based Embedded Systems and debugging tools.
• Working experience with safety critical systems and functional safety.
• Contributions to open source projects demonstrating high-quality C++ software craftsmanship.
