What you will do
- Own the end-to-end Network Subsystem (NSS) architecture, including packet processing pipelines, protocol engines, and interface datapaths.
- Architect high-performance packet pipelines supporting hundreds of millions of packets/sec throughput.
- Define advanced QoS models, scheduling frameworks, and traffic class isolation to support multi-tenant workloads and virtualization.
- Design architectures for telemetry, performance counters, and real-time observability of pipeline behavior.
- Collaborate across SoC, compute, memory, and SW/FW teams to drive architecture closure.
- Interface with external customers to translate workload requirements into NSS architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Networking ASIC / SoC / IPU / DPU architecture.
- Expertise in high-speed packet processing pipelines and system-level architecture tradeoffs.
- Proven experience defining and delivering architecture for large-scale data center networking systems.
- Must be based in the US and eligible for a hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Experience with programmable datapath architectures such as P4 or pipeline microcode.
- Knowledge of AI/HPC scale-out networking and congestion control architectures.
- Experience with transport protocols offloads and coherent/shared-memory offload models.
- Background in hyperscaler deployments or customer co-design engagements.
