What you will do

• Own the end-to-end strategy and execution for hirify.global-hosted and sponsored hackathons.
• Organize and manage developer meetups, including logistics, promotion, and speaker coordination.
• Cultivate and moderate active community channels on Discord and Reddit.
• Design and launch a developer Ambassador program to highlight community builds.
• Gather and synthesize developer feedback, pain points, and feature requests for the Product and Engineering teams.
• Track and report on community health metrics to optimize engagement strategies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevRel, developer marketing, or technical community management for API-first products.
• Proven track record of successfully running hackathons and meetups.
• Technical fluency sufficient to read API docs, build small demos, and discuss SDKs and webhooks.
• Must be able to be on-site in San Francisco and travel for events as required.
• Strong operational instincts with the ability to thrive in an early-stage, ambiguous environment.

Nice to have

• Existing relationships within the AI and builder scene in San Francisco.
• Familiarity with AI video, avatars, or generative media.
• Experience hosting, MCing, or speaking at technical events.
