What you will do

• Lead the design and architecture of net-new conversational ad experiences on the hirify.global Search page.
• Build large-scale, low-latency distributed systems and ML infrastructure to power LLM-driven ad experiences at global scale.
• Partner with science teams to implement large language models in production and build robust LLMOps capabilities.
• Design and own data processing pipelines for real-time, personalized conversational experiences.
• Mentor engineers, drive technical excellence through design and code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, science, design) to integrate AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Deep expertise in building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Passion for Generative AI, Large Language Models, and bringing them from research to real-world applications.
• Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA, USA.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience (coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
