What you will do

• Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, and data connectors for geospatial, imagery, and AI/ML workflows.
• Design and maintain containerized application architectures using Docker and Kubernetes (Rancher, RKE2).
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Support geospatial visualization and 3D terrain modeling using frameworks like Cesium.
• Operationalize AI/ML models at scale through integration, inference services, and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux, containers, networking, and AI/ML environments.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with required polygraph.
• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.
• Willingness to work onsite full time in McLean, VA.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience (7 for Master's, 6 for PhD).
• Strong experience in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, or Bash.
• Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD in hybrid or classified environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Earth observation, EO/SAR, remote sensing, or full-motion video systems.
• Familiarity with Cesium, OMAR image library, and 3D geospatial visualization.
• Expertise in computer vision, object detection, classification, and model inference workflows.
• Hands-on experience with PostGIS, Apache Airflow, Elasticsearch, and NVIDIA Triton.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, HashiCorp Vault, and GitOps practices.
