What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated tests across API, data, middleware, and application layers.
• Design and execute end-to-end test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform data validation using SQL and other analysis tools.
• Create scalable automation frameworks for middleware and API testing.
• Plan and execute regression testing aligned with release and change management processes.
• Troubleshoot software issues and conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation engineering.
• Must reside within the continental US.
• Strong experience with API, middleware, integration, and data testing.
• Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation frameworks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (requires fingerprinting and background check).

Nice to have

• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other healthcare organizations.
• Knowledge of ReadyAPI, SoapUI, Groovy scripting, or performance testing.
• Familiarity with AWS services including CloudWatch, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and Section 508 compliance tools.
