Automation Quality Engineer: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software applications with an accent on low-medium complexity testing, best practices, and defect tracking. Salary: $72,200 - $101,975

What you will do

• Design and develop low-medium complexity automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG.
• Execute automated test cases, report results, and track defects to resolution using JIRA.
• Collaborate with development team to understand functionality and testing requirements.
• Maintain and update existing test scripts to match application changes and enhancements.
• Follow automation best practices and provide guidance to junior analysts.
• Create test designs and use analytical processes to evaluate solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years testing experience with 1-2 years in automation testing.
• Proficiency in Java (core concepts).
• Strong experience with automation tools (Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG), Git, Gherkin, Cucumber, SQL, UI/API testing, JIRA.
• In-depth understanding of requirement analysis, end-to-end testing, and BDD frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Working knowledge of Zephyr Enterprise, BrowserStack.
