What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery in the Learner Experience pod, from discovery and problem framing through to production and outcome measurement.
• Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders in curriculum, operations, and delivery to identify and solve root-cause problems.
• Implement an AI-first approach to engineering, utilizing AI tooling for prototyping and agentic coding to accelerate delivery.
• Maintain high engineering standards through the strict application of TDD and disciplined code reviews.
• Coach and mentor less experienced engineers, sharing best practices for product engineering and quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK
• Full-stack capability with comfort owning the entire delivery lifecycle from design to iteration.
• Strong engineering fundamentals, specifically test-driven development (TDD) and a commitment to code quality.
• Active engagement with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping and coding.
• Demonstrated experience working with non-technical stakeholders to shape requirements and define solutions.
• Strong written communication skills for creating proposals and technical decision records.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Python, React, or Vue.
• Experience within edtech, regulated industries, or other complex domains.
