What you will do

• Own and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production services in Google Cloud.
• Participate in incident management, including detection, triage, mitigation, and recovery.
• Design and operate observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and tracing.
• Reduce operational toil through automation and engineering-led solutions.
• Define, monitor, and report SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical services.
• Support on-call rotations to contribute to a sustainable 24/7 support model.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland
• Strong experience with cloud-native concepts, specifically Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience with Site Reliability Engineering and production incident management.
• Software development or automation experience using Python or shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience operating production cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex production issues.
