What you will do
- Design and operate backend services that power AI-driven and ML-native product features.
- Partner with ML Engineers to productionize predictive models and LLM-driven capabilities.
- Translate predictive logic into reliable backend behaviors with strong standards on latency and security.
- Build reusable service layers to integrate intelligent features across multiple product flows.
- Instrument services with observability tools to ensure production readiness and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn ambiguous ideas into concrete, measurable product implementations.
Requirements
- Significant experience in backend software engineering within production environments.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience designing APIs and service layers for complex product workflows.
- Understanding of distributed systems, async processing, and operational reliability.
- Must be based in or able to work from Paris, London, or Barcelona.
Nice to have
- Experience productionizing ML-backed features like classification, recommendation, or forecasting.
- Experience integrating LLM-backed capabilities into product workflows.
- Familiarity with evaluation patterns for AI-powered features.
