TL;DR
Lead CIO Operations Manager (IT Operations): Facilitate delivery of IT services and products across PRS by managing enhancement demand, coordinating transformation support, and ensuring CIO operations run efficiently with an accent on KPI reporting, change governance (CABs), and resource/planning coordination. What you will do
- Manage business enhancements and support Transformation Programmes & Projects, including demand prioritisation, backlog maintenance, benefits tracking, and budget oversight.
- Coordinate demand and reporting by collecting KPI reports, organising CABs between business units and CIO stakeholders, and supporting R&D expenditure claims.
- Act as a business relationship interface between IT and internal stakeholders, including liaison across PRS IT applications and deputising from Product Owners when required.
- Coordinate resource allocation and planning with Project Managers and CIO Leads, resolving conflicts and aligning prioritisation.
- Administer JIRA (tasks, data cleanliness, account/project/resource setup) and support dashboard/reporting creation using Power BI.
Requirements
- Experience managing internal relationships and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, notably Excel, Jira, and Visio.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Process-oriented approach with ability to learn new solutions and processes.
- Experience working to specified project scope and timescales, with ability to work autonomously and prioritise independently.
- Project management/co-ordination skills.
