What you will do

• Own the end-to-end rigging pipeline for F&E productions from asset brief through to shot finalling.
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level riggers across assigned shows.
• Build production-standard Python rigging tools, modules, and classes from scratch.
• Develop technical solutions for complex rig requirements and contribute to the proprietary rigging system.
• Collaborate with CG Supervisors and the Head of Rigging on technical direction and asset sign-off.

Requirements

• Proven rigging experience in feature animation and episodic productions.
• Expert proficiency in Maya and strong Python skills for tool development.
• Experience leading riggers on production and owning a show independently.
• Deep knowledge of procedural and modular rig construction and character deformation systems.
• Must be based in London for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenMaya and C++ Maya plugin development.
• Knowledge of render farms (specifically Deadline) and shared storage solutions.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and familiarity with Linux, OSX, and Windows.
• Experience with cloud technology and deployment/orchestration technologies.
