TL;DR
Platform Engineer (Game Development): Develop and maintain the full client platform stack for a large-scale MMO 4X strategy game with an accent on framework core, cross-platform support, build pipeline, and developer tooling. Focus on designing clean APIs, improving developer iteration cycles, and enabling artists and animators to work independently without developer intervention.
Location: On-site in Limassol, Cyprus with full relocation coverage for you and your family.

What you will do
- Own and improve the full client platform stack including framework core, game engine layer, and cross-platform support.
- Develop tooling for artists, animators, and UI/UX specialists to enable independent workflows.
- Enhance build pipeline, CI, test infrastructure, and app startup performance.
- Build debug tooling and observability features to improve developer experience.
- Maintain developer regulations and documentation to ensure high-quality product development.
- Contribute to potential greenfield projects such as building a new client from scratch.
Requirements
- Location: Must work onsite in Limassol, Cyprus.
- 3+ years of C++ (17+) or similar client application experience at a product company.
- Strong understanding of design principles and patterns with ability to apply them judiciously.
- Experience with task decomposition and iterative delivery.
- Proficiency in technical English for documentation, RFCs, and collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience using LLMs to boost productivity.
- Experience with game engines or framework-level development.
- Commercial experience with Cocos2d-x or Unity (C#).
- Familiarity with cross-platform build systems like CMake and CI pipelines.
