Tactical Planner Student

TL;DR

Tactical Planner Student (Logistics/Finance): Supporting program resource portfolio management, budget control, and procurement processes with an accent on cost-saving analysis and efficiency improvements. Focus on managing purchase orders, tracking commits, and collaborating with internal and external vendors to ensure operational excellence.

Location: Must be based in Haifa, Israel, with at least 3 days per week on-site at the MATAM office.

What you will do

• Analyze data and support system development for program resource management.
• Manage budgets, track commits, and perform month-end closing activities.
• Create and track purchase requests, ensuring accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Coordinate with internal and external vendors to resolve procurement issues.
• Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain.

Requirements

• Must be a student of Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 1.5 years remaining until graduation (BA/MBA).
• Availability to work approximately 4 days per week.
• Must be able to work on-site in the Haifa MATAM office at least 3 days per week.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice to have

• Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, or Purchasing.
• Strong orientation toward systems and applications.
• Experience using AI tools in a professional or academic environment.
