What you will do
- Lead QA efforts across the entire product lifecycle from concept to deployment.
- Design and implement quality control processes and KPIs, such as First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Analyze quality databases to identify trends and drive root cause analysis for non-conformance.
- Enforce QA policies and conduct internal and supplier audits to uphold standards.
- Manage deliverables from subcontractors through design reviews and black-box testing.
- Coordinate with global teams in the US and Europe to align quality practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance for embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of software basics, including Python, C/C++, and bash scripting.
- Solid knowledge of the embedded devices manufacturing process.
- Effective communication skills in both Japanese and English.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
