Product Design Intern

TL;DR

Product Design Intern (Industrial Design): Supporting the experience design team in crafting home appliances with an accent on aesthetics, usability, and manufacturing processes. Focus on sketching, CAD modeling, prototyping, and conducting user research to contribute to strategic product development initiatives.

Location: Must be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands (On-site). Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants must be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Support industrial design activities within the solution development process.
• Conduct consumer and competitor research to identify user needs and design opportunities.
• Create concepts through sketching, CAD modeling, prototyping, and visualization.
• Assist with administrative and coordination tasks for strategic projects.
• Prepare presentations and reports for project reviews and exhibitions.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled as a student in a Bachelor or Master degree program in industrial design or related field for the entire internship duration.
• Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands without visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency in CAD modeling (preferably Rhino) and rendering (Keyshot).
• Strong skills in hand or digital sketching and prototyping.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
