Salary: $242,350–$363,000 per annum

What you will do

• Define product architecture and long-term roadmaps for next-generation switching platforms.
• Lead performance modeling, behavioral modeling, and architectural validation.
• Collaborate with ASIC design, SerDes, firmware, and systems engineering teams to bring architectures to silicon.
• Represent the architecture function in executive-level technical reviews and customer engagements.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in ASIC architecture and design, specifically in networking or high-performance SoCs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; Master’s or Ph.D. strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in L2/L3 forwarding, QoS, congestion management, and networking protocols.
• Strong understanding of Ethernet IO subsystems (IEEE 802.3) and SerDes.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws.
• Must be able to work full onsite in Santa Clara, CA.
