What you will do
- Develop and maintain embedded software for mechanical control and image processing systems.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary global team to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Implement messaging protocols and ensure seamless communication between hardware and software layers.
- Utilize source control tools and modern development workflows to manage codebases.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of equipment control software.
Requirements
- Master's degree with 0 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, C#, and Java across Unix/Linux/Windows environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural global organization.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Nice to have
- Experience with image processing software and system designs.
- Knowledge of RTOS such as Embedded Linux, Android, or VxWorks.
- Familiarity with SEMI equipment control software architecture.
- Experience using AI coding assistants and agents.
- Knowledge of standards-based messaging protocols like Ethernet, Serial, or VMEbus.
