What you will do

• Design, develop, and debug software tools and methodologies for hardware design automation.
• Capture user requirements to ensure software solutions align with engineering needs.
• Build and maintain web-based interfaces, backends, and APIs for tool configuration.
• Automate build and deployment processes to optimize development workflows.
• Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure tool reliability.
• Support Linux-based EDA infrastructure including CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Must be able to work on-site in Hillsboro, Oregon.
• 6+ months of experience in Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with full-stack development and software testing.
• Understanding of AI fundamentals and automation principles.
• Familiarity with EDA tools like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor.

Nice to have

• Experience with UNIX/Linux platforms.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing or VLSI mask design.
• Familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, Klayout, or Calibre.
• Experience with DRC, ICV, or IC Validator.
