TL;DR

Senior Manager, U.S. Domestic Tax Compliance (Finance): Driving the execution of U.S. domestic tax compliance and filings with an accent on consolidated returns and partnership filings. Focus on translating technical tax conclusions into accurate delivery and optimizing compliance controls.

Location: Hybrid (must be based in the US, specifically in Hillsboro, OR or Phoenix, AZ)

Salary: $165,890–$334,460 USD

What you will do

  • Provide executional leadership for U.S. domestic tax compliance, including consolidated and deconsolidated returns and partnership filings.
  • Oversee core compliance computations such as fixed assets and tax credits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to manage outsourced compliance work.
  • Analyze complex, judgment-driven tax issues and drive them toward defensible and executable conclusions.
  • Translate technical tax decisions into clear execution guidance and audit-ready documentation.
  • Implement continuous improvements to compliance processes and controls to increase predictability and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in U.S. federal income tax reporting and compliance within a large, complex corporate environment.
  • Hands-on experience with consolidated/deconsolidated entities and partnership filings.
  • Must be able to work under a hybrid model at assigned hirify.global sites in the US.

Nice to have

  • CPA or equivalent professional credential.
  • Prior in-house tax experience.
  • Substantive state tax experience.
