Senior Business Analyst (Fintech)

Senior Business Analyst (Fintech): Collaborating with Front Office and Technology teams to identify and implement technical solutions for investment management with an accent on requirements gathering, project management, and system optimization. Focus on developing robust high-quality systems, improving capabilities of Order Management Systems, and managing project delivery within an Agile framework.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: at least four days per week in office)

Salary: $80,000 - $103,000 per year

What you will do

• Consult with Front Office business partners to solicit in-depth requirements for the design and implementation of technology solutions.
• Partner with Capital Markets, Investment Compliance, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to the development roadmap of new and existing tools to continuously refine delivered capabilities.
• Project manage specific initiatives, including delivery status updates and risk/issue management.
• Participate in Agile squad ceremonies, collaborating with Scrum Masters and Product Owners on backlog prioritization.
• Provide consultative support to Engineering Run/Support teams on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Asset Management (preferred) or Investment Banking.
• Exposure to equity, fixed income, and derivative instruments.
• Understanding of Order Management Systems, preferably Charles River or a comparable platform.
• Strong SQL skills for database interrogation and knowledge of Oracle PLSql.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for delivering presentations and solution design documents.
