What you will do

• Act as the primary decision-maker for export control and sanctions matters in the AMEC region.
• Serve as the main interface to the business, providing clear and actionable regulatory guidance.
• Own high-risk cases, exceptions, and interactions with regulators.
• Ensure consistent and defensible interpretation of U.S. EAR and BIS requirements.
• Decide on routine cases and escalate complex, cross-regional, or high-risk situations.
• Collaborate with strategy and operations teams to align on global trade compliance policies.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in export controls and sanctions.
• Strong expertise in U.S. EAR and BIS regulations.
• Proven experience making decisions in complex, high-risk environments.
• Ability to operate as a senior business partner and decision authority.
• Strong judgment and stakeholder management skills.
