TL;DR

Senior Manager Climate (ESG): Leading commercial development and consulting projects in the climate and ESG space with an accent on carbon assessment, regulatory compliance, and climate resilience. Focus on generating leads, steering consulting teams, and developing thought leadership for large corporate clients.

Location: Brussels, Belgium. Must have a valid work permit (the company is unable to provide one).

What you will do

  • Generate leads by promoting capabilities in ESG, carbon assessment, trajectories, and climate resilience.
  • Personally lead and perform consulting missions for large, stock-listed corporate clients.
  • Steer the work of other consultants and manage project delivery to guarantee quality.
  • Analyze business models and sector trends to produce thought leadership materials, case studies, and press articles.
  • Coach and guide consulting teams within the energy, resources, and utilities business line.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a first-class university in engineering, business, or economics.
  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in a consulting company specifically within the energy sector.
  • Trilingual proficiency in Dutch (must), French, and English.
  • Proven business development skills and a broad network within large stock-listed corporations.
  • Extensive insight into climate challenges and the ability to manage professional teams.

Nice to have

  • Fluency in German.
  • Strong interest in data and AI-related topics and the ability to build expertise in these areas.
