What you will do

• Own the end-to-end research and technical strategy for long-horizon agentic experiences across shopping and financing workflows.
• Design and advance LLM post-training and evaluation methods, including SFT, preference learning, and RLHF/RLAIF.
• Architect systems that combine persistent memory, tool use, and multi-agent collaboration for consistent user guidance.
• Translate heterogeneous real-estate and behavioral data into agent-ready knowledge and signals.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define success metrics, evaluation frameworks, and safety reviews.
• Mentor principal-level talent and represent hirify.global’s research externally through publications and open-source contributions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying large-scale AI systems.
• Deep expertise in generative and agentic AI, including transformers, multimodal models, and reasoning models.
• Proven track record of leading ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from concept to production.
• Demonstrated research impact through top-tier publications (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL) or widely used open-source contributions.
• Strong technical leadership skills with experience mentoring senior scientists and engineers.
