What you will do

• Develop and deploy generative AI and machine learning models as customer-facing product features.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to write production-quality code across the full model lifecycle.
• Design and evaluate search and retrieval systems operating at the scale of billions of documents.
• Contribute to internal standards, tooling, and best practices for building and deploying AI systems.
• Partner with product and data teams to curate datasets and conduct rigorous model evaluation.
• Ensure all AI development aligns with responsible, fair, and transparent AI principles.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience building search or retrieval systems at the scale of hundreds of millions of documents.
• Experience applying generative AI models within domain-specific systems.
• Proficiency in the full machine learning lifecycle, including experimentation, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience working in containerized environments using Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in Python and comfort with UNIX-based command-line tools.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a quantitative field.
• Experience building and deploying systems leveraging large language models.
• Background or interest in the legal industry, eDiscovery, or the justice system.
