• Drive the long-term data strategy for the Rentals Shopping pillar to identify high-impact growth opportunities.
• Elevate statistical rigor, modeling, and experimentation practices to enable high-confidence decision-making.
• Lead analytical and modeling work for critical problem spaces such as rental search relevance, ranking, and personalization.
• Design and guide robust A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to measure feature impact.
• Apply modern AI, including LLMs and agentic workflows, to scale intelligent user-facing solutions.
• Coach and mentor data scientists, providing technical leadership for complex analytical challenges.

Requirements

• Must be based in any of the 50 United States.
• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, advanced modeling, and experimentation in consumer-facing technology environments.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience applying statistical modeling (causal inference, time series) in big data environments such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Proven track record of shaping long-term product roadmaps and driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
