A&T Technician I

TL;DR

A&T Technician I (Assembly & Test): Perform assembly, high-reliability soldering/crimping, and defined testing for hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems with an accent on diagnostic rework and repairs to meet test requirements. Focus on working from drawings/parts lists and using measuring instruments and hydraulic stands to complete reliable production repairs.

Location: Onsite – Buffalo, NY (East Aurora, New York). Monday–Friday 11:00pm–7:00am.

Salary: $22.00–$27.00 hourly

What you will do

• Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical valves, actuators, and systems using electrical/mechanical measuring instruments and assembly tools.
• Complete high-reliability soldering and crimping on wires for complex sub-assemblies and electronic/mechanical assemblies.
• Assemble and repair units using drawings, worksheets, and parts lists; work on repairs alongside production units.
• Use product knowledge to perform diagnostic rework on units that do not meet test requirements.
• Run assembly functions on hydraulic stands and perform some testing using defined procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• At least 1 year of related experience in a technical field.
• Ability to work onsite in East Aurora, New York on a Monday–Friday 11:00pm–7:00am schedule.
