What you will do

• Iterate on optimization frameworks in constraint-driven, multi-objective environments to balance CX and business value.
• Build and productionize ML-driven routing systems for large-scale marketplace decision systems.
• Own models across the full lifecycle, from feature design through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align on decision policies and tradeoffs.
• Maintain high standards for reliability and observability via dashboards, diagnostics, and automated monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of applied science experience focusing on optimization-driven or constraint-based decision systems (e.g., dispatch, matching, routing).
• 3+ years owning production machine learning systems end-to-end across the full model lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for building and deploying models in production.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Economics, Operations Research, Statistics, or Data Analytics.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including testing and operational rigor.
• Must be based in one of the 50 United States.

Nice to have

• Experience optimizing large-scale marketplace systems (e.g., rideshare, delivery, e-commerce, or logistics).
• Experience with mathematical optimization techniques like linear/integer programming or stochastic optimization.
• Experience designing observability and alerting systems for model and business performance.
