What you will do

• Build and execute daily rundowns for multiple news shows.
• Lead the control room during live broadcasts, making rapid editorial adjustments.
• Collaborate with directors to block and time live programming.
• Copy edit scripts to ensure accuracy, tone, and adherence to editorial standards.
• Pitch original news stories and segment ideas.
• Write headlines, teases, and graphics to drive viewer engagement.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site five days a week in New York, NY.
• 5+ years of experience in broadcast, cable, or live-streaming news.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on a live, daily show.
• At least 1 year of experience as a line producer, ideally with breaking news.
• Strong editorial judgment and understanding of journalistic standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
