What you will do

• Maintain and manage the QMS to ensure compliance with AS9100, AS9110, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee quality activities including corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) and non-conformance reporting.
• Lead internal, external, and supplier quality audits to ensure business value and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and organizational excellence using lean methodologies.
• Manage the calibration system for equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
• Report on quality metrics and system performance to the Head of Operations.

Requirements

• Must be an Australian citizen eligible to obtain and maintain Australian security clearance.
• Must be able to access ITAR-controlled information, which may limit eligibility for dual nationals or former nationals of certain countries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing quality functions in medical, aviation, defense, or automotive sectors.
• Deep knowledge of QSR, ISO9001, AS/EN9100, AS9110, and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to pass police checks and employment screening verification.

Nice to have

• ASQ Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer, or Auditor certification.
• AS9100 or AS9110 Internal Auditor certification.
• Lean Green or Black Belt certification.
