What you will do

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using PHP or Java.
• Create appropriate test data and set up test conditions.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify, track, and resolve defects.
• Write clear, descriptive, and valid test reports.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Sydney, Australia.
• Solid understanding of the software development and testing lifecycles.
• Proficiency in writing automated test suites in PHP or Java.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and issue diagnosis.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and investigation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Linux command line for log analysis and deployment checks.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
• Software development experience beyond individual test cases.
