TL;DR

Senior Performance Analyst (Investment Performance): Overseeing the calculation, analysis, and reporting of investment performance across all asset classes and strategies with an accent on GIPS compliance and risk-adjusted return metrics. Focus on managing outsourced service providers, driving process automation, and delivering actionable insights to global stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid (Houston, Texas) - must spend at least four full days per week in the office

What you will do

  • Lead a global team of performance analysts and oversee outsourced/offshored service providers.
  • Establish SLAs, KPIs, and governance frameworks for third-party vendors and offshore teams.
  • Supervise daily, monthly, and quarterly performance calculations for portfolios, composites, and benchmarks.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality performance reports and dashboards to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers, risk teams, and client reporting functions globally.

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in performance measurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GIPS standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in performance systems such as Eagle, Factset, or Aladdin.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, and VBA.
  • Must be based in Houston, Texas, and comply with the workplace model of 4+ days in office per week.

Nice to have

  • CFA or CIPM designation or progress toward certification.
  • Experience with attribution methodologies (Brinson, fixed income, multi-currency).
  • Programming skills.
