What you will do

  • Respond to technical support issues reactively and proactively, ensuring full resolution and closure.
  • Perform field services including installations, upgrades, break-fix, and system expansions.
  • Manage and track feature requests and bugs, advocating for assigned account priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and professional services teams to solve complex technical problems.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to ensure full adoption of VAST products.
  • Balance workload to meet KPIs and SLAs while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing, pre-sale/post-sale roles with complex storage solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, and storage.
  • Strong working experience with Linux system administration and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in bash scripting and at least one other programming language.
  • Significant experience with file systems and scale-out NAS implementation.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time and participate in rotational weekend/holiday shifts.

Nice to have

  • In-depth knowledge of S3 and high-performance computing (HPC).
  • Hands-on lab and hardware management experience.
  • Experience working in a rapidly growing, dynamic startup environment.
