What you will do

• Own the end-to-end production of core events, including conferences, keynotes, and summits.
• Develop and manage production documentation such as run-of-show scripts, schedules, and technical riders.
• Lead the creative and technical vision for stage design, lighting, audio, and video elements.
• Direct rehearsals and provide coaching to speakers and executives.
• Serve as the primary show caller on-site, managing real-time production decisions and technical cues.
• Manage relationships with external production partners, including AV and staging vendors.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to San Francisco or New York City.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating management of complex, multi-element live productions.
• Deep knowledge of technical production disciplines including audio, video, lighting, and staging.
• Extensive experience developing run-of-show documentation and directing live shows.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and concurrent production timelines.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with creative, technical, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of experience in live event production or technical event management.
• Experience producing events in the AI, technology, or enterprise software space.
• Background in broadcast, theatrical, or concert production.
• Experience with hybrid or virtual event production workflows.
