What you will do

• Design and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and provide 3rd level support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation.
• Provide work estimates and status updates while supporting user testing phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with MS SQL Server and associated technologies.
• Strong proficiency in T-SQL and database design principles.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization.
• English proficiency (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.

Nice to have

• Experience with IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender.
• Knowledge of financial concepts or banking organization.
