What you will do
- Lead the delivery and maintenance of applications and integrations supporting Group Functions and Business Units.
- Define and implement modern SDLC practices, engineering standards, and CI/CD workflows.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including POCs, technical spikes, and advisory work.
- Manage and grow engineering talent through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Partner with Solution Architecture, InfoSec, and Product teams to shape technical roadmaps.
- Ensure production reliability, observability, and compliance with security and operational standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering complex, production-grade software solutions.
- Strong expertise in the Microsoft stack (Angular, .NET Core, SQL Server, serverless).
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
- Strong understanding of engineering practices including requirements, build, test, and deployment.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical concepts into actionable plans.
Nice to have
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture or OutSystems.
- Experience using agentic AI to improve software delivery speed and quality.
