What you will do

• Lead the delivery and maintenance of applications and integrations supporting Group Functions and Business Units.
• Define and implement modern SDLC practices, engineering standards, and CI/CD workflows.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, including POCs, technical spikes, and advisory work.
• Manage and grow engineering talent through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Partner with Solution Architecture, InfoSec, and Product teams to shape technical roadmaps.
• Ensure production reliability, observability, and compliance with security and operational standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering complex, production-grade software solutions.
• Strong expertise in the Microsoft stack (Angular, .NET Core, SQL Server, serverless).
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising technical standards.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices including requirements, build, test, and deployment.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical concepts into actionable plans.

Nice to have

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture or OutSystems.
• Experience using agentic AI to improve software delivery speed and quality.
