TL;DR

Senior Product Manager (Workday): Drive the vision and end-to-end execution of Workday enhancements across Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Core HCM, and Talent Acquisition with an accent on HR operations, employee experience, and scalable automation. Focus on translating functional requirements into an outcome-driven roadmap, leading delivery from discovery to launch, and aligning stakeholders through complex tradeoffs and post-launch validation.

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Salary: $148,600.00 - $237,400.00 annually (base pay range for California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC)

What you will do

  • Translate business goals and employee pain points into an outcome-driven product vision for Workday.
  • Own and evolve the Workday roadmap, balancing near-term operational needs with long-term scalability, automation, and employee experience improvements.
  • Simplify HR processes and reduce friction to improve self-service across Workday domains.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Workday enhancements: problem definition, requirements, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, testing, launch, and post-launch impact measurement.
  • Frame problems, design solutions, manage dependencies, and resolve misalignment across stakeholders to drive execution.
  • Partner with Employee Service Center and Operations to design and scale sustainable Workday processes for global reliability and ease of use.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager with direct product ownership in an Agile environment.
  • 2–4 years of experience executing product development within Workday, with hands-on experience in at least one domain: Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HCM, AI, and/or Extend.
  • Ability to leverage AI and automation to increase impact in HR systems.
  • Proven experience delivering multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously while balancing quality, impact, and timelines.
  • Strong end-to-end product management and technical implementation experience (discovery, requirements, planning, prioritization, testing, launch, and measuring outcomes).
  • U.S. remote role: U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

Nice to have

  • Experience across multiple Workday modules.
  • Experience applying AI or automation within HR systems or Workday Extend.
