What you will do

• Investigate order properties using transaction cost analysis (TCA).
• Research and develop execution tools across various asset classes.
• Partner with global investment teams to define and meet execution requirements.
• Analyze market and trading data to improve existing trading strategies.
• Build and automate comprehensive transaction cost analysis reports.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in a STEM field, or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and R or Python.
• Proficiency with data science tools such as Shiny or R/Python Notebooks.
• Knowledge of quantitative finance concepts, market microstructure, and order execution processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data meaningfully.

Nice to have

• Experience in algorithmic trading research or developing execution algorithms at a buy-side firm, hedge fund, or investment bank.
• Specific knowledge of OMS/EMS systems.
