What you will do

• Design and architect secure network connection patterns across hybrid cloud and physical data centers.
• Assess attack surfaces and identify security gaps to reduce risk while enabling product scalability.
• Build scalable monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions for network security.
• Lead threat modeling efforts for network architecture and data flows.
• Drive cross-team security initiatives and provide architectural leadership across the product group.
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical interviewing standards.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• Deep networking expertise in hybrid environments including public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and physical data centers.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS, and applied cryptography.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Go, or shell.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently on ambiguous problems.
• Excellent communication skills for leading technical debates and building consensus.
• Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks consistent with government customer requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with IaaS/PaaS networking constructs like VPCs, transit gateways, and service meshes.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline security.
• Understanding of compliance requirements in regulated SaaS environments.
