Engineering Intern

What you will do

• Assist with special projects, equipment installation, and testing.
• Support the engineering team with research on system documentation and cabling.
• Support live and taped show productions.

Requirements

• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the full internship period (September 2026 through April 2027); December 2026 graduates are not eligible.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship now or in the future to retain authorization.
• Must be available 16–24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 to April 23, 2027.
• Must be willing to work on-site in San Francisco, California (full-time from the San Francisco office).
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits) and must be 18 years or older.
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.

Nice to have

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Junior or above class standing and cumulative GPA of 3.0+.
• Basic technical knowledge of broadcast audio, video, and signal flow; familiarity with Bay Area sports.
