Software Engineer Intern

What you will do

• Design, modify, and implement software programs to meet customer scope requirements and constraints.
• Develop C/C++ applications in a Linux environment, preferably Red Hat Linux.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum development methodology to deliver program milestones.
• Apply computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and object-oriented design.
• Collaborate in a project team under direction from an immediate supervisor to accomplish deliverables.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a software development concentration.
• 1+ years of software development experience using C and C++ and/or Java.
• 1+ years of software development experience using a Linux operating system.

Nice to have

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Proficiency in C and C++.
• Experience with Git and/or Subversion version control.
• Experience developing real-time multi-process applications and using inter-process communications.
