Salary: $210,000 - $325,000

What you will do

• Collaborate with tax leadership and Product Management to define and execute development strategy for cloud-based tax products.
• Oversee technology strategy, including architecture, engineering, and product design/development across a DT&I product portfolio.
• Design, build, and lead cross-disciplinary agile development teams; drive staffing, resource planning, and professional growth.
• Serve as technical architect for product and platform-level solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Ensure compliance with software development best practices, risk/security standards, and applicable SLAs.
• Evaluate emerging AI, Cloud, and Data trends for applicability to firm goals and product innovation.

Requirements

• 12+ years of technology field experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of technology field experience (STEM preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role managing development teams.
• Experience managing product engineering teams (20+ people) in a global multisite setup.
• Strong expertise in software architecture and engineering principles/patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless).
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Preferred: enterprise and/or SaaS product development in the tax/accounting industry; Microsoft Azure and Dynamics-based product development; AI (GenAI) solution design and development.
