What you will do
- Converse with language models in Sorani Kurdish across a wide range of topics.
- Evaluate vocabulary, dialects, grammar, idiomatic expressions, and cultural references.
- Challenge models on contextual interpretation, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance.
- Document reproducible error traces and model failure modes.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of Kurdish (Sorani), including phonetics, morphology, syntax, regional dialects, colloquial expressions, and cultural references.
- Clear metacognitive communication and the ability to explain linguistic reasoning.
- Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work is relevant.
- A secure computer and high-speed internet are required.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, Translation, or a related field.
